Please include a brief
description of your book, the table of contents, as well as the title of the
course in which you will use it, how often the course is taught, the first
semester for which you will use it, and the expected enrollment.
There are two options:
1. Your textbook published
to be offered for adoption.
The manuscript will be sent out for peer-review.
These reviews will be considered for the final decision.
2. Your textbook published
to use only in your course.
This would be an interesting
way of measuring the impact of the book in students and would help you to
correct it. In this case, your book can be published immediately after accepted,
and it would not offered for adoption to other colleges and universities.
If accepted for publication, the
final manuscript must be sent “camera ready.”
If
you don't have time, and your manuscript is already finished, send it to us and
we will make it camera ready.
We do not
publish . . .
We do not publish books that are not Textbooks.
We do not consider anthologies of a single author as textbooks.
We do not
make reprints of books already published and still available on the market, or
under contract with other publishers.
Remember, you must have written
authorization to use works by other authors than yourself.
We appreciate your support of Independent Publishers. If you are
already using any
of our textbooks, please recommend them to your colleagues.
